do you ever wonder what a peaceful world would look like? a world filled with no hate or competition. or what it would be like if everyone was at least kind and respectful with one another?
it’s almost impossible to imagine, to even imagine anything of that kind.
but it’s the belief that not everyone in this world is cruel or bad. not everyone has bad intentions and not everyone is here to ruin another person’s life.
a person in the UK has called for an act of terror and threat to the muslim community, promoting violence of many kinds upon Muslims, for simply being Muslim.
these types of acts include horrific actions such as pulling a Muslim woman’s hijab off, throwing acid on a Muslim’s face or beating a Muslim up. each act, depending on how severe, is ordered on a point scale system. for every act committed, points are rewarded.
it’s almost ridiculous that people will actually do this, and it’s a threat amongst many Muslims, in the UK or not. we’re fearful for our lives, family and friends are afraid and they can’t trust that they’re children or family members be outside of the house on this day. they’re afraid of the unexpected and would much rather want their members to be at home than for them to pursue their careers and jobs.
but that shouldn’t stop us.
instead of making this day a bad one, I and many others have decided we change the day into something nicer, something friendlier and more convenient amongst everyone in the community. rather than being a negative person, why not bring positivity into someone’s life by simply doing simple things such as smiling at a Muslim, hugging a Muslim or having a nice talk with a Muslim.
it would be a lot more appreciated and it would make you happier as well.
why punish a Muslim when you can love a Muslim instead?
thank you.
