look how far we’ve come

i would have never imagined us to be at this point in life

but here we are.

i had thought we’d part our ways and no one would speak to each other again

but that’s not what happened.

and i’m grateful that didn’t happen

because i never thought we’d make it this far.

 

i still can’t believe it.

i never thought we’d still be close

but here we are.

and i’m happy with that.

i don’t want you to leave my life

so please don’t expect me to leave yours.
